I know I have updated this thing only once since 2006. I felt it was time now, I could update and put something that was a big moment in my life in here. For those of you who dont know him, which none of you probably will, I have a friend named Andrew B. Meli. Andrew was a co-worker and close friend of mine. Andrew was born September 4th 1984, he was 21 years old. Andrew was my best friend at work, we would talk for hours while we worked and we would frequently go out after work and hang out. Andrew spent my birthday with me this last year. Andrew was one of the best people I have encountered in my life. Andrew was encouraging, kind, thoughtful, and a good friend. The last time I got to see Andrew was on Jul 1st, 2006. I went to Andrew's house for a few hours Friday (JUNE 30th) and afterwards I drove him back to Chesterfield where we went to Dallas' house and hung out til 3:30AM (JUL 1st). At 3:30AM I drove Andrew back to his house, we shook hands and said we would talk later. Andrew called me at 2:30pm on July 1st and told me he had a good time last night. I asked him what he was doing that night and he said he was having a small BBQ. Andrew and I made plans to hang out in the following days. We hung up after saying goodbye to one another, little did I know, it would be the last time I got to speak to my friend. On Jul 2nd, 2006, at 5:09pm while I was working I received a phone call that Andrew had passed away.
I did not believe it, it could not be true, how could my friend whom I had just talked to, not be here still. I attempted to call him on his cell phone but he did not answer, it went to his voice mail. I cried more that first week of knowing than I have ever cried in my life. I had trouble sleeping, working, eating, living in general seemed rough. Andrew used to tell me I motivated him at work, I motivated him to do better. I felt lost, Andrew was the only person who told me I motivated them to do better, it made me work harder and better; he didnt know he motivated me as well.
Although Andrew and I did not know each other for extremely long, we were very close. I recall back about 4 weeks before Andrew died, while we ate lunch he told me he had made a V.I.P section in his phone, a very important people section after he had had a discussion with a close friend of his (Deb). I asked to see his phone, in the V.I.P section which contained only about 10 people, was my name, right at the top. It was Andrew's way of saying, I care about you, your important to me. I hope he knows how important he was to me. I miss him, I miss him everyday. You know its funny, we are raised up to be so jaded and not to show our emotions, often times we hold them in so long until, its too late, the person you care about is gone. I have learned some things by this event.
I have learned I love my family, and I love my friends. I love the people I talk to at work each day and the people who think about me and my feelings. I mean that. I made a promise to myself to show my love more often. I will try. I know God is real, God loves me. I always liked the song by Puff Daddy "I'll be Missing You", it has taken on new meaning for me as of Jul 2nd. As the song says, Andrew "Cant Wait to See if you open up the Gates for me".
So those of you who have read this, tell those people you care about you love them, give them a hug, you never know when you wont have the chance to do so anymore.

WOW, Havent updated this thing in forever!!!!!!! I dont even know what to say.
For the most part, same old stuff in life, work, school, social life. School went great this semester, hung out with Leon a lot during school, got all A's woo hoo.
Work has been going good, same stuff, kicking ass, showing who's boss, etc.
I love my friends. You all know who you are. Ill give intials incase you dont know.....J, K, D, M, L, J, M, L, D. Are you on the list?
Christmas was good, hung with family, opened presents, ate food. All good things.
New Years was good, Hung out with dallas, shot pool, josh/kim picked me up, went to Kenny's, shot pool, ate food, watched ball drop. All good things.
I have had a string of bad luck lately though. My car got smashed by a stupid bitch a month ago, still dont have my car. Ive been sick the last two weeks, my big toe nail got smashed and ripped off of my toe, and my hand got all scraped up in a fight yesterday. Man, at least im still alive.

Long time no update. With some bugging from liz i decided it is time. Recently I have been doing the usual stuff, work and school. Work is going good. Friends are good, hung out with Josh and Kim the other day which was cool cuz it had been sooo long, too long. Then hung out with Josh, Kenny, Evan, Tom and went to a haunted house and watched Blade Trinity. Had a couple beers, good times, good times. I hang out with Darren when he actually calls and hung out with Dallas about a week ago at Bliss' house. That was pretty fun too. I drive to school with Nick Kriebel on Tuesdays and thursdays which helps out on gas and somebody cool to talk to. Liz and Jenna are talking about going to Canada which will be AWESOME. Okay, im outta here for now. |

Wow, I havent updated in forever!!!!! Life is going well and fast. I miss the days of when I was a young strapping lad and summers and days seemed to last forever. The older I get I just feel time slips away. So much to do everyday but so little gets done. I had a fun weekend though. Went to Mt. Pleasant with the guys to central michigan university; Darren, Pat and Nick. Stayed with Darrens good buddy Chris. Went there and played football (I SUCK) and hung around. I video taped the trip which was pretty cool and have some good footage of stuff. We went and saw foreigner and for those of you who dont know they were HUGE in the 80's with hits like, Cold as Ice, Hot Blooded, I want to know what love is, double vision, urgent and juke box hero. All of which they performed at the Soaring Eagle Casino. Darren, Pat, Chris, Nick and myself all went to see them and it was an AWESOME show. We had front row tickets and the lead singer jumped down onto our table and sang and I got high fives from all the band members and a guitar pic from one of the guys. We were getting tons of attention cuz we were going nuts. It was great. Then we played volleyball the next day and ate at a place called Frazlo's or something like that. It was really good. Fun trip. School is starting pretty soon here at the end of this month. Oh well, summer has been good to me.

Well Ive been having fun this last week because I was on vacation mostly. I enjoyed not having to work but I was busy all week trying to help out around the house and hang out with my friends.
Yesterday was a lot of fun, I worked 10-6 and then afterwards when playing air soft with Nick, Pat, and Darren in a field near Nicks house. Had fun, got shot a lot and then went right from there over to total sports and played Wally Ball with Darren, Nick, Pat, Heather (Until she got mad at Darren and left), Melanie Glefke, Jeremy Glefke, Jenn, Tim L., and Ray Rogers. That was a lot of fun. We played for two hours. I had a really good time. Really an active day for me. I should have more like that getting some excercise. So afterwards and drove Nick, Pat and Darren back to Nicks house and we played poker. I didnt do too bad considering I havnt played much in my life.
Day before that was Dan's 21st bday. Went with Dallas, Matt, and Jessica. I left a little bit before they did with Darren. I had a pretty good time.

Well, been having a lot of fun this last week. I am on vacation as of now. Which I think I will enjoy for a couple of days and then miss work and want to go back.
The other night was crazy though. Ill try to make a long story short. Me and Dallas were planning on going with Liz, Jen and Anette to Jen's house, have fun, drink, bon fire, swim, etc. So Jen buys dallas beer and smirnoff at a party store with her fake ID. Then tells us we cant go to her house for whatever reason. So we go to this spare lot thing on 27 mile road. Its down a dead end street, nobody supposedly goes back there. So we all go back there, hanging out, listening to the radio etc. Then all the girls end up leaving and me and dallas sat back there for like 10 minutes longer. Then I said lets go, we pull out and are heading down the road and there are headlights coming toward us. I said Im gonna shit if thats a cop. Then as they go by I see the Macomb County Sheriff symbol on the door as they go by. Me and dallas basically started freaking out. I told him to make a right on Werderman and to fucking speed. So we go flying down the road and the cops must of been flying too cuz they caught up pretty quick. Then at 26 Mile I told him to make a right going towards my house. I hadnt had anything at all to drink but dallas had a couple beers so we are going down 26 and the lights go on. My heart about jumped out of my chest at this point and so did Dallas'. So they come up and asked us what we were doing down there and we said we were looking for our friends and were going back to my house. They checked our IDs and let us go. Thank GOD, they didnt search his car cuz he would of been fucked. Then we screamed like little girls as we drove away knowing how close that one was. LOL
Other than that, been hanging out with Dallas and Darren Weir a lot. Playing cards at Darren's apartment. Been pretty fun. I also got to watch this Family Guy movie that comes out in like a month. It was GREAT.

On August 3rd I thought I was going to have to buy some tickets to see Huey Lewis and the News because I really wanted to go and see him. So I talked to Dallas and he says that his dad's friend may have some more extra vouchers and would see if he could get me some. So sure enough, he gets 5 from his Dad's friend. Two for Dallas, and 3 for me. So I invited two friends of mine, Vikki and Ryan K. Vikki drove Ryan and I, and Dallas drove Jessica over to Freedom hill. So it turns out Ryan knows a kid whos dad is high up on the chain at Freedom Hill and we get waved down to the tenth row. We saw the entire show really close. It was awesome! Then, for the last couple of songs, me and Ryan pushed our way to the front. It was great. Huey Lewis is awesome, did most all the songs I knew, I want a new drug, power of love, doin it all for my baby, heart of rock n roll, Its aright, etc. GREAT SHOW!!!!!!
The other night, Dallas, Matt, Liz, Anette, Jenna and I went to Anchor Bay in new baltimore late and night. After we hung out there for a while the cops came up and said we didnt have to go home but we cant stay there. So we left and went to a playground on chesterfield road. At about 3:30AM a cop showed up but was pretty cool and left us alone. It was pretty good night.
The next night I went to two Grad Parties, one was Pat Weirs and that one was pretty fun because I played pool volleyball and that was a real good time. Then I left out of there and got with Dallas and Matt and we headed over to Marky Marks but Dallas got a vibe it wasnt going to be a lot of fun and headed back while me and Matt went. We got there and there was only about 4 people left (young people) so matt got a little buzzed and Marky Mark was already Drunk so we chilled there, ate some food and headed back to c-field to meet with Dallas. We got back and planned on doing something, anything exciting, but we couldnt figure anything out so we headed to 7-11 and sat in their parking lot until like 4. lol, we are cool I know.
Then the next night I was suppose to go bowling with Darren, his fiance heather, and Marky Mark but didnt end up going. We just sat around Darren's chattin. Then I went to Marky Marks and stayed the night. Got about 3 hours of sleep and Matt came over and we headed to CEDAR POINT!
Ceder Point was a BLAST. I hadnt gone there in about 3 maybe 4 years. It was such a fun time. I went on all the rides I was afraid of going on when I was little. Bought some of those pictures of me on the Top Thrill Dragster, pretty funny. It was a ton of fun, went on the Millennium Force, Gemini, Top Thrill Dragster, Raptor, Mean Streak, Magnum, that one inside ride, and something else Im probably forgetting. So we drove home and one of the tires blows. Completely flat, no spare. So we had to call Marky Marks mom and she came and picked us up. Luckily it happened on Romeo Plank, not in Ohio or Detroit.

Well, Its been going pretty good lately. Lately been hangin out with Dallas, Marky Mark, Dan, Matt, Liz, Jenna, and Josh( A little)
Been trying to keep busy between work and hangin out with the buds. Over the weekend highlights would be hangin out with Dallas at Dan's sisters grad party. Drank a few beers had pretty good time then left to go to NEW HAVEN where we watched girls make out and drank a little more. After a fight almost broke out and sat around a bonfire me and dallas left at about 3 almost 4 and came to my house where we slept til 1. Then we went to get my car and I came home and showered and went to work. That night I went to Cj Barrymores, went on some go-carts and played putt putt with Marky Mark, then went to his house and watched Tin Cup and ate Dairy Queen ice cream, good times. Hung out with Matt the other day went to Dennys then to National Coney Island. Hung out just chillin and chattin. I went to Red Lobster for the first time ever with Matt and Marky Mark. Pretty good, need to get some lobster next time. I could of gone skinny dipping yesterday but I didnt. Probably would of been fun. Also about a week ago went with Dallas, Jessica, Britin, and Ashley and went swimming. That was fun, Ive only got to swim a couple times this summer. I guess that's all for now. Cedar Point on Monday!!!!!!!!! Im also on vacation all week the third week of august. That will be nice!!!!!!!!!!

Well I havent updated this thing since the 11th of july. Which was 20 days ago so Its been quite a while. Some interesting things have happened. I've been hanging out with my usual buddies. Matt, Dallas, Marky Mark. Josh and Kim have fallen off the face of the earth it feels like. Josh i never see, Kim i never see. I miss them. Marky Mark is coming to my store which is sweet. I saw Wedding Crashers with Matt and Ryan K. and Amanda S. showed up and we chatted with them. Good times. Been hanging out with Mark a lot lately. Bout it for now. Cedar Point soon!!!!!!!!

Before Work on Friday I hung out with the coolest gal ever....Heather. We went to Ruby Tuesdays and had lunch. We just chatted and caught up on our exciting lives. Then Friday night was pretty good. After work Marky Mark called me up and we decided to head out to Cj Barrymores. We were planning on shooting some pool. We got there and as we are walking towards the place who is standing there on the sidewalk. No other than Black Matt. So we started talking to him and he dumped the people he was there with and went with Mark and I. We get in and they tell us its past 11 no pool for us. So we left and went to Denny's. We sat in Denny's and just shot the shit. It turns out Mark is going to transfer to my store so thats pretty cool.
Saturday I went and saw the Fantastic 4 with Matt. Pretty good movie. You didnt get to know the characters as well as I wanted to though. Then afterwards I went to Kim's house because her brother Tim had just recently turned 16 and he had some friends over. So I went swimming with Kim, Josh, Tim and his friends. Then afterwards we played volleyball and Josh and I dominated. Oh yeah!! Then went with Josh, Kim and Kenny to Ryan Kiernicki's grad party. It was a blast. Sang Karoake and sat around a bon fire. Played beer pong. Fun times, fun times. Then before Josh, Kenny, and I left at about 5AM Kenny lit some smoke bombs and threw them in the tent where a bunch of people were in there passed out or talking. It was so freakin funny. lol. Then we Ran like hell to our cars and came to my house where they stayed the night.
Today I just layed around.

Wow. What an awesome show. John Fogerty (lead vocalist and songwriter for CCR) came out and did an amazing set. Hit after hit. Opened with Travelin Band, the set included: Old Man Down the Road, Bad Moon Rising, Fortunate Son, Who'll stop the Rain, Centerfield, Down on the Corner, Born on the Bayou, Proud Mary, Heard it through the Grapevine, Around the Bend, Hot Rod Heart. Great Show! Then John Mellencamp came out and opened with Smalltown, and Did hit after hit including Aint Even Done with the night, Jack and Diane, Hurts so Good, Walls Crumblin Down (Gave Crowd the Finger, Funny), Lonely Ol Night, I need a Lover, Green River (With John Fogerty), Walk Tall, Cherry Bomb, Check it out, Paper in Fire, Pink Houses, Authority Song, and R.O.C.K in the U.S.A and others that Im forgetting but it was great.
Josh, Kim and I had a great time. When it was all over we ran like hell to the car and got out of there beating the rush. Good Times.
Afterwards they dropped me off and I called up Marky Mark and we went to Denny's and hung out. Fun times.

In other news, back in April I got a speeding ticket. Today was my court date. The ticket I got was from a State Trooper. So I go into the courtroom, they call me in ahead of everybody else, I go in there, and I see the cop that gave it to me comes in the same time as the judge. Then the Judge says "The court sees you would like to dismiss the citation for Adam Green, is that correct?" The Trooper says "Thats correct your honor" Judge says "No objections I presume Mr. Green.?" Thats correct your honor. Thank-you.

Today was sweet. Just chilled around the house until concert time.
Me and Vikki went and saw Don Henley (Lead Singer of Eagles and Solo Artist) along with Stevie Nicks (Female Lead of Fleetwood Mac and Solo Artist). The show was really good. Most all of the hits were included except Stevie left out a few I would of liked to of heard in concert including Landslide and Silver Spring. Don opened the show and did Hotel California, Boys of Summer, End of Innocence, The Last Worthless Evening (Duet with Stevie Nicks) Heart of the Matter, Dirty Laundry, All She Wants to Do is Dance, I put a Spell on You, Witchy Woman, along with Stevie sang with a couple of those. Then Stevie did Stand Back, Rhiannon, Edge of Seventeen, Stop Draggin my Heart Around, and a Few others I knew the song but not the name. Then they closed the show with Leather and Lace. Over all really good show.
Hope to see John Mellencamp and John Fogerty next.
Went to a party last night. One stripper was there. Black Matt got drunk. Fun times.
Went to Pizza Hut before hand with Liz, Matt, Dre and his bro. Fun stuff.

Well, since last weekend not a whole lot of excitement has been going on. Ive just been enjoying the summer. Last night I went over to Derek's house and Ron also went over there and we played video games till about 2AM then I came home and went to sleep. Changed the Mustang's oil today.
Also on Tuesday I went and saw Batman Begins along with Vikki and Ron. Very good movie. Starts the Batman Franchise back up. Excellent movie.
Should go and see Mr & Mrs Smith. Ron leaves for florida this saturday. I will be seeing Don Henley and Stevie Nicks this saturday. That will be a good show.
I also want to go see John Mellencamp and John Fogerty July 2nd. Any takers?
I guess thats everything for now.

Well, where to talk. Its been about a week since the last post.
College has been out since Wednesday. Very good! Couldnt be much happier about that one. Went well I guess.
Last thing I can remember that happened to talk about is I hung out with Josh, went to the mall and then i went over with Matt to his friend Chad's house for the pistons game. Pistons lost that night. Matt went home before the game was even over because he had to work in the morning so I stayed until about 2AM although matt had gone at about 11:30PM.
Josh and Kim and I went to CJ Barrymores last week on wednesday too I believe. Rode the go karts then went to Kims and made Root beer floats.
Last couple of Nights Ive gone over and hung out at Vikki's since she was house sitting her friends mom's house. Ron came over too, we watched Team America one night and Chris Rock last night.
Last night I also went to two grad parties. One for Josh Stros, heather called me and invited me over so I went there and had some cake and played volleyball. That was the first time I had seen Eric, Stros, Jarrett, and Erica in a long time. Then I left there and went down the road to Anthony Dipillas. That one had lots of Liquor and Beer. I played Gladiator on this big inflatable thing that was there with Anthony. That was pretty fun. Good to see him, hadnt seen him in a LONG time.
I didnt have to work today so been a very lazy day. Im tired anyways.
Im suppose to go with Matt to Chads again tonight for Game 2 of the Pistons/Spurs.

Last two days have been pretty good. Worked in Auburn Hills yesterday with Brady. Always a good time. Afterwards went up to Chesterfield and met up with Marky Mark and his friend Brian. Then Marky Mark drove up to Port Huron and we went to Deja Vu. That was pretty fun. First time in a American Strip Club. They bump and grind a lot more on the lap dances.
Today, helped out around the house. Progress is being made. Front room has been painted. Coming together day at a time. Lots of Progress for the Green House. Thats for sure. Then went Matt came over with Jackie. Left outta here and headed over to New Baltimore and met up with Sarah and Liz. Then left outta there and I went to Dairy Queen because it was so FREAKIN hot. Then went to Kmart where Matt bought a volley ball. Then Andre, Liz, Matt, Jackie and I went to the park on 21 mile road east of Romeo Plank. Played volley ball and walked around. Sarah didnt go for some reason. Must not of seen bug enough or something. Then we all went home and showered then met back up at Cj Barry Moores and we played putt putt. I guess Ron was there but I didnt see him. Then we went to Kmart parking lot and ate Taco Bell and Burger King. From there we dropped Jackie off and went to the siefert school and played hide and go seek in the dark till about 2 in the morning. It felt like last summer all over again.
Work Tomorrow, wish I was going to Graduation ceremony instead. Oh well.

Finally!!!!!!!! Summer is in reach. I cant wait. Only two more classes left next week and alllllll done til september 26th. Oh boy I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love summer. Been working in Southfield too much lately. Suppose to hang out with Matt and liz over the weekend.
Saw sarah for the first time since she has been home the other night. About time, she was probably never gonna call me. I had to call her up and beg to come over. Now isnt that some bull$H@%.
Anyways, College went good today. Found out I have like A's in all my classes. Thats always good.
Progress coming along on the house, who knows, we may have a floor someday. Wouldnt that be nice.
Hope summer is fun. Hope to see a lot of people I havnt seen in a while. I gotta give Anthony, and Heather and who ever else.
